Fabulous Flora uses native plants with other species to invite butterflies, birds and other pollinating creatures into your garden. We love adding beauty to gardens while keeping them low maintenance and requiring little water.
Working with a limited budget? We’ll surprise you by how much can be accomplished with minimal expense.
Fabulous Flora does not use pesticides or fossil fuel powered tools. We avoid making soil, air & noise pollution.
Meet Emil,
Owner of Fabulous Flora
Plants, trees & soil always fascinated me. As a boy, I took on the responsibility of lawn care, transplanting/pruning trees & other garden projects at our family country home. I taught myself to make crushed stone pathways, railway tie borders & stone & shale water erosion features that are still there today!
Later on, I worked in film & television as a property master & set dresser on many feature films & TV shows. My favourite sets to decorate were fantastical gardens with oversized plants & art pieces.
As a Queen West area resident for 35 years, I’ve built & maintained communal vegetable & pollinator gardens in my neighbourhood on City of Toronto & Toronto Hydro property. The Children’s Edible Garden, which I built ten years ago, grows herbs & vegetables for all neighbours to enjoy.
In 2020, I launched Fabulous Flora Gardening and the garden fun continues…

We can safely remove branches up to twenty-two feet above ground. Your shrubs & hedges will look perfect after we’ve trimmed and shaped them.
